Welcome to my profile, thank you for visiting Data Quality Pro.

I am the founder and community manager of Data Quality Pro and Data Migration Pro, the free online resources for data management professionals worldwide.

My professional background has consistently been connected with the challenges of data quality and the enormous business benefits that getting it right can provide.

Invariably this has led me into other roles most notably data migration and data integration, both of which are obviously totally dependent on high-quality information.

Since the early nineties I've been learning, often the hard way, that sustainable data quality improvement has to come from the business community itself, it cannot be driven by IT. One of my hopes with this site is that the business community can learn more about data quality in a language and medium they can relate to.

One key difference I wanted to create with this community was a focus on the individual, not just the organisation.

Having worked in the industry for many years I know how tough it can be to sustain a rewarding career or business in the field of data quality. My aim is to create a site packed with features and benefits to help members get to the next level in their career or business.
